SPOTLIGHT: TelcoTV: Starz gives price advice

Speaking at the TelcoTV conference in Atlanta, Bill Myers, chief operating officer of Starz Entertainment told telcos that cable TV companies have erred and disappointed customers with premium pricing for much-desired movie channels. He said this is a key area where telcos can make a difference and gain competitive leverage by aiming lower with their movie channel prices.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the attractive margins are part of the reason telcos want to be in the TV business, right? Telcos can go lower, but may not want to go too much lower.
