SPOTLIGHT: Verizon Business to expand in India

Verizon Business is bringing private IP nodes online in five major Indian business hubs. The rollout will bring direct, high-speed access to Verizon's MPLS service to New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.

The new offering will also increase local customers' access to high-tech features and in-country billing. Verizon Business is positioning the new, faster and more reliable offerings to serve large multi-national corporations with strong Indian presence. It already has offices in the five cities where it plans to offer MPLS connectivity, and it has a large IT development and training operation that employs more than 4,000.
