SPOTLIGHT: Windstream, CWA reach tentative deal

Windstream Communications and the Communications Workers of America union have reached a tentative agreement under which about 500 former workers of Valor Communications and Kerrville Telephone (both now part of Windstream) will get annual 4% wage increases, pension preservation and other contract enhancements.

This three-year deal is now being voted on by union members, according to Union Network International. Windstream and the CWA had been negotiating for the past few weeks.
