South Dakota Public Utilities Commission Chair Steve Kolbeck has been named Co-Vice Chair of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners' Committee on Telecommunications.
Kolbeck will take up the post on Jan. 17, replacing John Burke of the Vermont Public Service Board, who on Jan. 11 was announced as chairman of the association's telecommunications committee, reports von|xchange. He'll be replacing Ray Baum, who's moving on up to an advisory position with the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
