TDS Telecom promotes Villacrez to senior vice president, continues CFO role

TDS Telecom has added SVP of finance to Vicki Villacrez’s list of duties at the company.

A 28-year company veteran, VIllacrez will also continue to act as TDS Telecom’s CFO.

Charged with overseeing the company’s financial reporting, Villacrez also has direct oversight of accounting, internal controls, billing, revenue assurance, procurement, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

“With an eye toward future growth and profitability, along with exceptional knowledge of our financial operations and activities, Vicki is well-positioned to take on this highly-visible executive management position,” said Dave Wittwer, president and CEO at TDS.

Before joining TDS Telecom in 2012, Villacrez was the assistant treasurer at parent company Telephone and Data Systems (TDS).

Villacrez first joined TDS in 1989 as an internal auditor. Over her tenure with the company, she has held multiple leadership positions with growing responsibility in finance and strategic planning.
