Teresa Mastrangelo takes video service expertise to Infonetics Research

Teresa Mastrangelo is taking up new digs at Infonetics Research as the research firm's new Directing Analyst for Cable, Satellite, and IPTV Video.

Teresa Mastrangelo, InfoneticsA 23-year telecom industry veteran, including 10 as an industry analyst and 13 years working at telecom vendors in product management and planning roles, Mastrangelo is best known today as the founder of The Windsor Oaks Group where she served as Principal Analyst and Director of Research and authored the broadbandtrends and SmartGridTrends research services.

Prior to founding Windsor Oaks, Mastrangelo served as the Program Director for Broadband Network Strategies at RHK, conducting research on broadband infrastructure and services, circuit-to-packet migration, and VoIP.

Before entering the industry analyst world, Mastrangelo served in senior-level product marketing and product roles at Cisco, Advanced Fibre Communications (now Tellabs), and NEC America.

As she transitions into the role of directing analyst for video, she will initially work alongside Jeff Heynen, Directing Analyst, Broadband Access at Infonetics Research. The end-game, as explained by Infonetics will be to expand its coverage of both broadband access and video services, including home networking, smart grid, mobile video, and over-the-top (OTT) video.
