Tinet brings wholesale network to Boston, Mass.

Looking to sate wholesale customer service demands, wholesale IP/Ethernet provider Tinet is further extending its North American network presence by establishing a hub in Markley Group's data center at One Summer Street in Boston, Mass.

With access to more than 40 domestic and international carriers, Markley Group's 80,000 foot facility will serve as another hub for Tinet's ongoing network expansion activities.

Throughout the past year, Tinet has been aggressively expanding its U.S. presence. In addition to this latest network expansion, the service provider added more than 25 long haul backbone circuits in the U.S. and struck a connection agreement with Hibernia Atlantic as well as participating in Equinix's Carrier Ethernet Exchange platform. Later this year, Tinet plans to also build a third Network Operating Center (NOC) in the U.S.
