TV customer service rates low

The Forrester Research Customer Experience Index survey, which measures customer service for nine different industries, shows that the TV services industry, including cable TV and satellite players, finished eighth out of nine. That should provide more optimism for telcos who are just getting involved in the TV market and--at least from the looks of initial reports--weren't among firms measured as part of the TV sector. It's also more bad news for a cable TV industry that has been feeling the heat of competition lately, and believed it had started to overcome a legacy of customer service complaints.
