TWC network maintenance disrupts 12M broadband subs

Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) is having a tough week. While it was conducting "routine maintenance," a problem caused an outage for 12 million of its broadband service customers. Interestingly, this outage came as the service provider is being required by the FCC to pay a $1 million fine to resolve an FCC investigation that found the operator failed to report multiple network service outages in 2013.
