AT&T announced that its U-verse IPTV service has passed the 100,000 customers threshold. It's an impressive feat, considering AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said on June 19 at the NXTcomm trade show in Chicago that the carrier had so far recruited 40,000 customers.
Rollouts of new TV markets are now almost a weekly event for both AT&T and Verizon, so we should start to see a faster uptick in uptake overall throughout the United States. AT&T also announced a slate of new features planned for U-verse.
