Verizon integrates one year of free Netflix into triple-play FiOS promotion

Verizon's (NYSE: VZ) latest move to offer a promotional FiOS bundle that includes 75 Mbps, a $150 Visa gift card and one year of free Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) shows how much influence the online video provider has on how consumers get their programming and the role that higher bandwidth can play in supporting the service. However compelling such a bundle may be, a FierceCable article citing a BTIG Research blog post reveals that this promotion is only available to customers in the New York DMA (designated market area).
