Verizon on track to add 600,000 FiOS subscribers in 2013, Shammo says

Verizon's (NYSE: VZ) EVP and CFO Fran Shammo, according to a report in FierceCable, said that while the telco anticipates higher churn for FiOS products during the summer months, he is "confident" the telco will achieve its goal of adding 600,000 new subscribers by the end of the year. He also announced at the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference that FiOS reached 50 percent penetration in Dallas, the first market where it launched the service almost 10 years ago. Read more
