French media and communications conglomerate Vivendi reportedly is looking to invest in Goer Telecom, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Saudi Goer, which controls wireline and wireless operations in turkey and elsewhere. Goer Telecom had been seeking an initial public offering until canceling that plan earlier this week. Telecom Italia once owned a stake in Goer, but sold it earlier this year.
