DirecTV's shift into the 4K broadcast space has been anything but easy. News reports have documented how the first two of its planned 25 Major League Baseball games broadcast in 4K had to be scrubbed due to technical issues.
However, it appears that DirecTV is dedicated to 4K. It has set the next scheduled 4K MLB broadcast, an April 29 matchup between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.
