XO increases So Cal network reach

XO Communications is doing a bit of its own California Dreaming as it sets forth plans to expand its nationwide network across Southern California's Inland Empire region.

This latest network expansion complements XO's well-established Southern California network presence where it currently runs metro fiber networks that encompass more than 600 route miles with a 150-person staff. To augment this network expansion effort, the service provider has opened up a new sales office in Ontario, Ca.

XO's Inland Empire network expansion represents a broader strategy where the company will invest in existing networks while also moving into new markets. Indeed, Inland Empire is Southern California's largest metro area that includes both Riverside and San Bernardino counties, in addition to large cities such as Ontario, Palm Springs, Riverside and San Bernardino.
