XO offers bandwidth-based pricing

The telecom market's revenue history is one based on lines and circuits, but the era of flexible IP bandwidth is capable of changing that game, and telcos are starting to catch on. XO Communications has scrapped traditional pricing models for its IP Flex enterprise market offerings in favor of pricing the service per bandwidth allotments. XO has been targeting large enterprises only since last fall, so it is looking for an edge in an otherwise competitive sector.
