Zayo establishes point of presence at 325 Hudson in New York

Zayo is giving its growing base of carrier, media and content companies another connectivity option in New York by establishing a point of presence (PoP) at 325 Hudson, the carrier-neutral core interconnection facility that's located on the crossroads of Hudson Street and the Holland Tunnel in New York City.

In order to establish a presence at the 325 Hudson facility, Zayo built out dual and diverse 432 count fiber cables into the building and dual and diverse 216 count fiber cables into the 325 Hudson Meet Me Area.

This buildout will have implications for both Zayo and Hudson 325 customers.

Existing and new 325 Hudson customers will be able to leverage Zayo's large network, while providing Zayo customers with additional connectivity options. Today, Zayo's network spans more than 77,000 route miles across the U.S. and Europe and includes more than 14,000 on-net buildings.

"By establishing a presence at 325 Hudson, we are able to support the ecosystem and offer our services to the growing presence of media, entertainment, and content companies in 325 Hudson," said Chris Morley, president of marketing and sales at Zayo, in a release.
