Top 10 things to control in the cloud with your Telepathy Neuralink

Elon Musk’s Neuralink company surgically implanted its first brain-to-computer device called Telepathy into a human this week. Musk said the surgery went well and tweeted that the implant “Enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking.”

For now, the device is aimed at quadriplegics and other people who have motor-related challenges, but someday soon, brain implants could be widely available, so we’ve put together a Top 10 list of cloud-related things you’ll be able to do with your very own Telepathy device “just by thinking.”

  1. Monitor those egress fees
  2. Set your out of office for Mobile World Congress
  3. Organize your object storage in the blink of an eye
  4. Learn COBOL and save the world from mainframe migration mayhem
  5. Order replacement furnace filters
  6. Instantly adjust the temperature of your data centers
  7. Monetize 5G, finally
  8. Organize your OneDrive
  9. Move Starlink satellites to get better upload speeds
  10. Last but not least, and probably the most important — like your mother’s Facebook posts

You may even be able to use a Neuralink implant to control apps in your personal cloud. Wow! Of course, that would mean cutting into your skull to install the device — hmmm. Maybe we’ll leave that to the Muskees? Muskovites? Muskites?
