L-Com Global Connectivity, a connectivity product manufacturer, has recently announced the release of two multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) antennas which the company says provides "true" 180-degree coverage.
The HG2458-13P-180 MIMO sector antenna offers high-gain and dual-band support for both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands. The other device, the HG5813DP-180 antenna, is a dual-polarized MIMO sector antenna which "delivers high-gain with vertical and horizontal polarization for applications in the 4.9 GHz to 5.8 GHz frequency bands," according to an L-Com press release.
Both antennas use two N-Female connectors to support a dual-feed system, and the HG5813DP-180 antenna utilizes separate feeds for its vertical/horizontal polarization.
According to L-Com, the antennas are all-weather safe due to heavy duty plastic radomes, which also protect the devices from UV exposure. The company said the antennas also come with stainless steel mounting kits that offer tilt and swivel options, "which allows installation with various degrees of up/down tilt for easy alignment." Release
