OFS recently announced the debut of its InvisiLight MDU Solution, a fiber routing solution for residences and businesses with multiple dwelling units (MDUs). The optical cable company said the InvisiLight MDU works as a complement to OFS' existing InvisiLight Indoor Living Unit Solution.
The MDU Solution is designed to streamline fiber installation in hallways and between floors of MDUs. This is accomplished with a 12-fiber optical unit installed outside of each apartment or office unit. The fiber can be surface mounted so as to avoid more intrusive, costly installment techniques.
According to the company, the InvisiLight MDU Solution not only saves money and time through ease of installation, but also blends in with architecture and décor better than traditional solutions and is therefore more popular with service providers that have a multitude of customers to please.
