Impossible Cloud receives Veritas approval for cloud solution

Impossible Cloud, the revolutionary platform offering decentralized, enterprise-grade cloud solutions, today announced   that its advanced cloud storage system has been certified by Veritas Technologies, the leader in secure multi-cloud data management, for integration with Veritas Backup Exec. Impossible Cloud has also become an Elite Partner in the Veritas Technology Ecosystem program.

The integration brings together secure, scalable and fully compliant decentralized cloud services with fast, cost-effective and unified backup and recovery capabilities. During a time of rising cloud costs, this gives Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and resellers a simple, powerful and transparently priced solution to comply with data privacy laws and ensure critical business data is never at risk of being lost, stolen, or corrupted.

“This is a major step in the growth and development of Impossible Cloud, and in the delivery of cloud services to global corporations seeking to leverage the many efficiencies, cost-savings and security benefits of decentralized cloud infrastructure,” said Kai Wawrzinek, CEO and Co-Founder of Impossible Cloud. “Veritas is a global leader, and Backup Exec – which is an ideal fit with Impossible Cloud’s storage solutions – is trusted by more than 45,000 businesses worldwide. We look forward to working with Veritas as we help drive the web3 B2B revolution to transform cloud storage.”

“Impossible Cloud’s integration with Veritas Backup Exec expands the array of options for addressing businesses’ cloud-storage needs, providing more solutions for helping organizations unlock the potential of decentralized cloud technology with confidence, knowing their mission-critical data is protected and resilient wherever it lives,” said Martin Boeker, Director of channel and alliances at Veritas.

The announcement follows Impossible Cloud’s launch of its Partner Program, designed to help partners and resellers seamlessly implement Impossible Cloud’s efficient, performance-driven solutions in enterprise environments. That program is developed to support various prospective channel partners – including Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Systems Integrators (SIs), MSPs and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) – in their efforts to bring more innovative and profitable solutions to customers by leveraging the emerging B2B benefits of web3.

“Impossible Cloud storage complements Veritas Backup Exec by providing highly efficient cloud storage via enterprise-grade data centers in a structure designed to reassure MSPs and their clients of true data sovereignty,” said Daniel Baker, CTO of Impossible Cloud. “Through our partnership, we offer a comprehensive solution that combines advanced data protection, scalable and secure storage, streamlined account management and a transparent pricing model. This presents a powerful value proposition for resellers and MSPs, initially throughout Europe and, as we add more data center locations, throughout North America and globally.”

In April 2023 Impossible Cloud announced the general availability of its enterprise-grade, native cloud storage solution delivering all the capabilities of traditional cloud storage along with the key benefits of web3 technology. In March the company announced a €7 million seed round co-led by HV Capital and 1kx, joined by Protocol Labs, TS Ventures and very early Ventures.
