Burlington Telecom keeps Al Jazeera in line up

Bowing to pressure from the city’s telecom advisory committee and the local citizenry, Burlington Telecom has reversed its controversial decision to drop Al Jazeera English from its channel line up. The battle had generated international press coverage as the Vermont city—and its residents—turned the flap into a fight for free speech.
