Data center and interconnection company Equinix has expanded the global reach of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure across five continents to help enterprise customers connect to Oracle Cloud.

Recent global market expansions in São Paulo, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto and Zurich now provide customers in those areas with private and secure connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect via Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric.)

The long-standing partnership between Oracle and Equinix also now includes Oracle customers using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Phoenix data center region to directly connect to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect from Equinix International Business Exchange (IBX) data centers in Los Angeles via ECX Fabric. ECX Fabric is an on-demand, software-defined network (SDN) enabled interconnection service.
