HickoryTech (Nasdaq: HTCO), a Mankato, Minn.-based independent telco, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share of its common stock, a 4 percent increase from the previous $0.135 per share dividend.
The service provider said that the $0.14 dividend is payable on Dec. 5, 2011 to shareholders of record on Nov. 15, 2011.
Such a move is not uncommon for Hickory Tech as it has been paying a cash dividend to shareholders for decades.
The last time the telco increased its quarterly dividend was a year ago.
