The CEOs of Level 3 Communications and Frontier Communications have been tapped by President Barack Obama to head up a new National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
James Crowe, Level 3's CEO will take the position of panel chairman, while Frontier's CEO Maggie Wilderotter, will serve as vice chairwoman.
The 30-member committee will be tasked with advising the president on cybersecurity and disaster recovery issues.
