TWC spreads its DOCSIS 3.0 love into Cincinnati

Time Warner Cable may have been late to the DOCSIS 3.0 game, but now it is bringing the service to markets outside its New York City stronghold.

The lucky city to get TWC's DOCSIS 3.0 service is Cincinnati, where subscribers will be able to choose from two speed tiers: 20 Mbps/2 Mbps; and 50 Mbps/5 Mbps.

According to a Light Reading Cable blog post, TWC's Cincinnati, Ohio DOCSIS 3.0 service debut is part of a three-state launch that will also include segments of Texas and upstate New York.
