Tyco Electronics reports 'outstanding' fiscal third quarter; NTELOS launches $125 million loan financing

> Tyco Electronics (NYSE: TEL), which recently made a move toward the cable and broadband device space with its acquisition of ADC, reported an "outstanding" fiscal third quarter and is raising its outlook for the fourth quarter, according to CEO Tom Lynch.  News release.

> Wireless and wireline communications services provider NTELOS (NASDAQ: NTLS) is arranging an incremental term loan of $125 million to fund its recent FiberNet acquisition. The holding corp. also plans to release its second quarter earnings results on August 5. News release.
