Windstream is giving its business customers the same price and service commitment its providing for its residential customers with its 'Lifetime Price Guarantee' voice/data offering. Unlike typical service provider lower-priced bundled packages that typically end after a set period (typically six months to a year), Windstream's 'Lifetime Price Guarantee' offering will give business customers up to 12 Mbps of Internet service and unlimited nationwide calling with 10 features for an unchanging price.
Of course there is one minor restriction with the new plan: it is available to those business customers that subscribe to at least one new bundled service for a limited time. However, the $99 entry level price for 3 Mbps of Internet and unlimited nationwide calling could resonate with small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) that are looking for an alternative to the local cable company.
But this is not just about pricing. What could help Windstream potentially sell more of these bundles are the extras it offers. Since most SMBs have limited, if any, IT staff services such as Security Suite, Online Backup and Website Hosting Solutions are functions they could just simply hand off to Windstream to manage.
