XO launches FMC trial

Anticipating an enterprise-focused fixed-mobile converged service called Unwired Office, XO Communications has launched a trial of FMC capabilities in Seattle. The CLEC is working with Sotto Wireless, a company that uses Nokia E series phones to support wireless voice extensions over IP PBXes. The trial and ensuing roll-out should be worth watching.
